A simple but elegant songbird brooch created from warm English Oak. Each songbird is engraved with a pattern of repeating leaves before being sealed with beeswax, creating a tactile surface that will only grow more beautiful with age.
Each brooch is unique as the engraved pattern varies slightly, and by it's very nature the oak may include small knots and colour variations, but this only adds to the beauty of the wood.
Presented in wrapped in teal tissue paper and in an organza bag and packaged in a "large letter" size box, making the oak brooches perfect letterbox gifts!
Materials
Made from warm English Oak, finished with beeswax. A steel brooch pin is securely fitted to the back of the brooch.

The songbird measures approximately 35mm by 50mm.
